Received my ornie from Gaby

I received my ornie from Gaby, and it is very very nice! It is called 'Happy Jack' from this year's JCS Halloween ornie. Gaby framed the ornament in beading, which looks very difficult (but I think I will have to give it a try!!) Thank you so much Gaby! I enjoyed our exchange...

My Autumn Ornament from Alison

I received my autumn ornament from Alison and I just love it! Alison stitched Blackberries from New Stitches issue 53 stitched on sparkly evenweave with silk mill thread and finished into a pinkeep! She also put my initial on the back..very pretty!

My Fall Exchange Ornament from Wendy Jo

I have just had the most gorgeous Fall ornament arrive in the post today from Wendy Jo. It is a JBW pumpkin design stitched on linen with varigated thread (I think) and backed with a lovely oak leaf and acorn fabric. I have always liked JBW designs though have not stitched any myself so thank you very much for this lovely cushion. It is a very apt design as I am just about to buy my pumpkin to make a delicious soup that we always have at this time of year using the pumpkin inside when the children make their lantern.

Just to keep everyone here posted, I am in the middle of moving from the west coast to the east coast of Canada and will be missing from these exchanges for a little while. As I am driving across Canada with our trailer we will be a while. It makes me sad that I might miss some exchanges before xmas but alas "c'est la vie".
I have had excellent exchanges and look forward to continuing to meet and exchange with other stitchers. Thanks for your patience...vivian

Great Ornament from Karen

I recieved my ornament from Karen yesterday. I have not had a minute to take a picture but I will when I get home tomorrow. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! It has this really cute pair of flip flops on one side and July 4th on the other!

I don't know how you knew that those were my two favorite themes, but I just love it!! And thank you for the extra ribbon if I want to change the hanger. I love it just the way it is!!

I will post pictures tomorrow night for all to see!!

I received my exchange a couple of weeks ago. My only excuse is that I have been trying very hard to find work. I teach at the community college level but work as an adjunct. So I have been drumming up business so I can make ends meet.


As for my ornament, I absolutely love it. I love fluffy sheep and these are beautiful. I think they are from Little House or Country Cottage Needlework. The back is my name.
